Bid Description:
The Town of Newfane is planning to hire an engineer to assist with the construction of a new salt and sand shed at the existing Town Garage Facility on Depot Road. The larger salt/sand shed, utilizing a standard VTrans design, will prevent water intrusion and contaminated runoff from discharging into the wetlands on the property as well as nearby culverts, reduce the risk of groundwater contamination, and eliminate the need for salt and sand to be dumped on the ground before transferring to the shed. The scope of work will include the design of a new 66’ x 84’ building based off the VTrans design and a site plan.
