Bid Description:
1. Mow and trim the vegetation on the approximately 5.25-acres Phase 1 and two (2) acre Phase 2 areas. The contractor shall perform this service once during each year of the performance period, between July 1 and August 31, or more frequently, if requested, to prevent the establishment of woody vegetation. The areas to be maintained are in exactly delineated on the map in Attachment A. With prior permission, potential bidders may visit the site on their own. Please contact DEC staff James “Buzz” Surwilo at james.surwilo@vermont.gov in order to obtain permission.
Additional property maintenance services at the Burgess Landfill, e.g., ditch cleaning, erosion repair, and the like. Potential bidders are requested to provide an hourly rate for any additional equipment and labor (plus materials). Optionally, depending on the task involved, the contractor and State may agree to a lump sum payment.
