Bid Description:
The Town of Thetford is soliciting Construction Inspection Services for the above referenced project. Construction includes, but is not limited to, the following: Remove and replacement of catch basin frames and grates, utility light repairs, the expansion of the existing parking lot, addition of a structural gravels overflow parking area, site work, kiosk and ancillary features installation and parking lot pavement overlay. The project limits are at the Thetford Elementary School, 2689 VT Route 113, Thetford, VT 05074. This project is funded by the Vermont Agency of Transportation through the Municipal Assistance Bureau. Qualified disadvantaged (DBE) and women (WBE) owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The Town of Thetford is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
Final plans for this project are available for viewing at the Thetford Town Office, 3910 VT Route 113, Thetford Center, VT 05075. The Town Office is open Monday 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Call Mary Ellen Parkman, DPW Project Manager at (802) 785-2922, Ext. 3 or zoning@thetfordvermont.us to schedule an alternate day if these times are not possible. The plans and specifications will be available electronically at no cost (in PDF format) for downloading upon request by emailing bryan.ruoff@stantec.com. There will be no charge for electronic documents. Paper plans and specifications will also be available from Stantec Consulting Services Inc., 5 Dartmouth Drive, Suite 101, Auburn NH 03032, Hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Mon. - Fri., Tel: 603-669-8672, for a $50.00 non-refundable fee per set. There will be no charge for mailing sets. The deposit must be made payable to Stantec Consulting Services Inc. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. The selected Construction & Inspection individual or firm will be provided a copy of the Contract Documents and the Construction Plans at no charge.
