Bid Description:
The Town of Springfield and Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission invite contractors to prepare a unit price bid for the Springfield South Street Sidewalk Project. The project is located along South Street (TH 4), beginning at the intersection with Union Street (TH 361) and extending south approximately 0.495 miles to the intersection with the High School/Howard Dean Education Center. Work to be performed under this contract includes construction of new sidewalks and curbing on the east side of South Street from Union Street to Terrace Street, reconstruction of sidewalks on the west side of South Street for the full length of the project, and other related improvements. Sealed bids from pre-qualified contractors will be accepted until 11 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Springfield Town Office at 96 Main Street in Springfield, VT; bids will be opened directly following the due date and time.
