Bid Description:
1. Construction of approximately 150 linear feet of buried 6, 10, 14 and 16-inch class 52 ductile iron water main, bends, valves, fittings, air releases, hydrants and interconnections. 2. Construction of an approximately 90 foot bridge crossing including mechanical joint fittings, rigid joint long span ductile iron water main, air release, pipe supports, rollers and connections, jacketed insulation, reinforced concrete cutting, cast-in-place reinforced concrete, pipe sleeves, wall penetrations, a heat trace system including conduit wire, heat trace, electrical panel and controls within an existing concrete vault. 3. Miscellaneous work, surface restoration, landscaping, grading, flushing, testing, cleanup, obtaining permits from and coordinating with VTrans and the Railroad, and any other work shown on the Drawings or as specified herein.
