Bid Description:
The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is making up to $975,000 available for grants for expanded or new Food Scrap Processing Capacity Projects such as: composting facilities, anaerobic digestion facilities, organics recovery facilities, or organics transfer stations. The maximum grant award for any
individual project is $500,000 and the grantee will be required to provide match for at least 60% of the total
project cost. Eligible entities include municipalities and solid waste districts. Grantees will be required to provide match for at least 60% of the total project cost. ADDENDUM #1 issued 9/18/2018 - The proposal due date has been changed to October 31, 2018. Please see addendum for revised proposal review schedule.
