Bid Description:
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL), Adult Services Division (hereafter referred to as “the State”) to solicit creative and innovative proposals from vendors to provide training and support to Vermont nursing homes. The State has identified needs in the areas of:
• Best practices in:
a. Dementia care
b. Behavioral supports
c. Daily oral care
• Technical assistance to individual nursing homes for the review and refinement of the CMS required Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs
• Development of a system of communication and support between the nursing homes
Vendors are encouraged to provide proposals to meet any or all of the identified areas. Proposals should include the costs associated with the individual elements of the proposal and must identify how the elements can become self-sustaining. The State will evaluate the submissions to explore how the proposals would meet the needs of the State and to understand the cost associated with proposed solution(s).
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.
RFI responses may be provided through email (in a format accessible by the State) or may be delivered as a hard copy. All Submissions are limited to no more than 20 pages.
