Bid Description:
The Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) is seeking proposals from qualified entities and/or organizations (Contractor) that can support the Agency efforts at moving Vermont schools to an Open Education Resource model. Proposals should demonstrate broad expertise and experience related to the online creation, cataloging and dissemination of a platform to house a
variety of resources related to Open Education.
Contractor will provide a no-cost solution for the State of Vermont Agency of Education which entails an on-line platform that can house Open Education Resources (OER) that are created by individual educators from across the state and its schools. This platform should be online, have a simple and straightforward interface and allow that educators might upload and download resources for use in the classroom. Essentially, this would be a large sharing website, where web-based items can be organized and cataloged according to grade levels, subject matter, and other criteria.
